Enoteca San Marco is a restaurant located in the Venetian Hotel, on the Las Vegas Strip. It is located in one of the corners of San Marco Piazza, so if you sit on the "patio" in the Piazza, you will be able to listen to the variety of live music and watch the street performers during dinner. The atmosphere and the music really made this a wonderful dinner.

Items Ordered

Dinner Roll

Cost:Free

After being seated, we were presented with two packages of bread, and two packets of bread sticks. That was different. The bread in the packages was plain and white, while the bread sticks were hard and crunchy.

Acetaia Salad

The Vinegar Maker's Salad
Cost:$12

This salad contained prosciutto, so it was a good opportunity for me to discover that I don't like prosciutto. Otherwise, it was a pretty good salad. The salad consisted of salad greens with a vinaigrette dressing.

Quattro Fromaggi

tomato, taleggio, cacio, ricotta, mozzarella
Cost:$14

This really was a four cheese pizza, and served in a distinct way! Roughly speaking, each of the four quarters of the pizza had a different type of cheese, so it was easy to tell where one cheese stopped and the other began. I was expecting a mixture of four cheeses, but this was a neat surprise.

The pizza itself was quite good. The thin crust was nice and dry (not oily), and the tomato sauce was the perfect sweetness. With a salad as an appetizer, the pizza was easily large enough to be shared between two.

Margherita 'D.O.C.'

tomato, bufala mozzarella, basil
Cost:$14

Like the Quattro Fromaggi, this pizza was quite good. It was a fairly similar pizza, but only with one type of cheese, and the addition of a few basil leaves. I felt it could have been better if the basil leaves were cut into smaller pieces - they were easy to get stuck in your throat in full leaf form.

Gelati (Three Flavors)

One, Two, or Three Flavors
Cost:$9

You are given three scoops of Gelati, and you can choose whether to have one, two, or three flavors. Our server recommended the roasted banana flavor, and it was definitely the best one. It was excellent, and tasted very much like banana. We also tried the toasted cinnamon, and espresso. They were both good, but the banana was really the star.

Latte

Cost:$4.50

The latte was typical, and was served with a nice spiral shape on top.
