Dutch dreams is an ice cream parlor in the St. Clair area of Toronto. They serve a variety of ice cream flavors and ice cream treats. You can make your order at the ice cream counter and eat on the outdoor benches, or take a seat at one of the few tables in the back and have a server take your order. I recommend making your order at the counter if you want to get your ice cream faster. The restaurant is filled with all kinds of interesting nick-knacks which are fun to look at.

Items Ordered

Royal Dutch Banana Split 3 Scoops

Cost:6.32

We ordered the banana split with Caramel Turtle Fudge, Moose Droppings, and Heavenly Hash ice cream. All the flavors were really good, although the mini peanut butter cups in the moose droppings ice cream made it the favorite. The banana split was quite large and easily shareable. For the price, it is really good value.

The three scoops of ice cream sit on top of a crispy unrolled waffle cone, are straddled between two halves of a banana, and are covered in chocolate fudge, whipped cream, nuts and fruit. There was an interesting assortment of fruit. The typical cherry on top was missing. Instead, there were strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, grapes, and pineapples. Some of the fruits were a bit strange with the ice cream, so we just ate them on their own.

Parking

There is some free street parking available in the area, as well as a small parking lot at the nearby coffee time.

Cost

Just a regular ice cream costs between $3-$5.

Casual.
