Overall Experience: 5 / 10
Date Visited: Wednesday, March 5, 2008

The Dolmabahce Mosque is located outside the entrance of Dolmabahce Palace. We saw it from the outside on our way out of the palace, and thought we would go in for a quick look. It was nearly empty when we arrived, but nicely decorated. The domed roof is also very nice.

As in all mosques, visitors must remove their shoes before entering. It is also recommended to dress conservatively, although there was nobody enforcing any requirements while we were there.

When we visited, the exterior of the building was undergoing renovations.

Cost

There is no entrance fee. There was also nobody to tell us not to take pictures or video.

Estimated Visiting Time

We maybe spent about 2-3 minutes looking around - we felt a bit out of place, and just wanted to see the inside.
