Delifrance is a chain of restaurants in the Netherlands. They offer a variety of baked goods to go as well as some sandwiches and salads you can eat in. This location is located in the center of Amsterdam. At this location, there were no outdoor tables. You place your order and pay at the counter, they give you your food, and then you pick a table to sit at.

The menu is entirely in Dutch with no English. However, all the sandwiches and baked goods are out on display, so you can just point at what you want, and it is usually clear what it is from looking at it.

The cafe was clean and nice looking. The food was also quite fresh. We saw them bringing out freshly baked goods from the oven. Although the sandwiches looked pre-made, we saw them constantly making new ones to replenish the display.

Dress

Very casual.

Cost

Sandwiches cost around €5.

Items Ordered

Brie Sandwich Baguette

Cost:€4.95 for large (€3.40 for small)

The sandwich contained no meat - just brie cheese, lettuce, tomato and cucumber. The brie cheese was very good and gave the sandwich a nice creamy texture and a bit of flavor. The white french baguette wasn't very exciting - it was pretty plain.

Triangle met Kip - Triangle with Chicken

Triangle bun with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and chicken fillet
Cost:€4.95

The triangle bun was great. It had a nice flavor and looked a bit brown. Otherwise, the sandwich was fairly typical. It came with mustard and mayo on the side which helped to give it a bit of flavor.

Cappuccino

Cost:€2.40

The cappuccino had a nice flavor. It was a typical good cappuccino made with just enough milk to dissipate the coffee bitterness.

Pastry

Cost:€2.10

We saw them bring these out fresh, so we thought we'd try one. We thought they were cinnamon buns, but they were actually custard and raisin rolls. Unfortunately, they weren't labeled. This was not to our taste at all.
