Club Menage

Club Menage is a nightclub located in Toronto's entertainment district. We visited on a Wednesday for the "Wayback Wednesdays" night. The club is located above a restaurant. It has one main bar, and one small bar. It has an outdoor patio area (where smoking is allowed when the patio is not covered), and an outdoor uncovered area where smoking is always permitted. There is a small lounge area near the back by the smaller bar. Later in the evening, the dance floor can be very crowded (crowded to the point where it is very difficult to move). The dance floor is a little awkward in that you have to walk through the dance floor to get from one end of the club to the other.

The Music

The music is live to air on 103.5 in Toronto on Wednesdays. The club opens at 10:00pm, and when we arrived shortly after 11:00pm, the dance floor was full. The music played is a mixture of 90's eurodance, freestyle, current dance music, and a little bit of upbeat hip-hop, and latin (but not too much). The crowd is incredibly enthusiastic during the euro sets, as everyone knows the music and loves to sing along while dancing.

Cost

There is a $10 cover charge for men, and $5 for women. I got the impression that the cost-per-person varied from person to person, and likely from night to night (depending on how busy the place was). The cost for drinks is unknown, but you can get tap water for free.

Dress Code

Their website says their current dress code is no hats, ripped jeans, or running shoes
