We had a group of 12 people and figured Chantanee would be a good spot to go. We made a reservation, but it probably wasn't necessary - the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived at 6:30pm. Chantanee offers pretty typical Thai/American dishes. They have a 5-point spicy scale, but (at least in our case) they probably made their dishes less spicy than we requested.

It's a fairly casual spot

Cost

Most entrees are around $10-$15.

Items Ordered

Ginger Vegetables

Stir-fried broccoli, onion, carrot, bell pepper, mushroom, and baby corn, with fresh ginger.
Cost:$12

The ginger vegetables were exactly what it said - a dish full of vegetables topped with a nice sweet sauce. It was ordered with a spiciness of '3', but it was mostly just sweet with hardly any spice. The dish came with white or brown rice on the side.

Panang Curry

Spicy red curry with coconut milk and sweet basil. Your choice of chicken, pork, or beef
Cost:$12

Like the ginger vegetables, the panang curry was not at all spicy. I ordered it at a spice level of '4', but it only had a very mild spice. The dish was just chicken in a sweet coconut sauce. It was sort of plain on its own, but I was able to mix it with some of the ginger vegetables (from above) and that helped.
