Roasted Red Pepper Soup
A rich, simmered blend of tomatoes and red peppers roasted in our kitchen, pureed with cream and butter.
This soup tasted far more like a tomato soup than a red pepper soup. There may have been a red pepper or two blended somewhere in the soup, but the dominant flavor was definitely the tomato. It tasted like an average tomato soup.
Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich
Shaved steak sauteed with onions, red and green peppers, and HP sauce stacked on a toasted hoagie bun and baked with mozzarella cheese.
It seems that every time I go to Casey's, I order the same sandwich. It is really quite tasty - it's a typical Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and it sure is good. This time I felt like there was less meat than previous visits, and it was served with more fries than one person could possibly finish in a sitting. It was really very good, but I think next time I might try something else.
