Cafe Metro is a typical New York style cafe. There are a number of locations throughout the city, and this one is inside the "pit" at the Rockefeller Center (6th avenue and 48th street). There is a seating area indoors with room for about 20-30 people. When we visited in the evening, it was mostly empty. I would imagine that during the day, it is much busier.

Dress

Very casual.

Cost

Average for this type of restaurant (pretty cheap)

Service

Go to the different stations to choose what you want, then take it to one of the checkout kiosks to pay for it.

Items Ordered

Quesadilla and Pea Soup

Cost:$12.98 for both items

The pea soup was pretty good. It was a tasty pea soup (as most pea soups are), but was salty.

The quesadilla was also pretty good. It was made with a blue tortilla with some beef pieces, cheese, and peppers on the inside. Unfortunately, most of the toppings were in the center of the quesadilla, so the outer half of each piece was just tortilla.
