Armand's Chicago Pizzeria is a restaurant in Washington DC that offers Chicago style deep dish pizza. The quality of the food wasn't amazing, but they still offered a relatively good deep dish pizza for reasonable prices.

The restaurant has a lower level for walk-in patrons, and an upper level that is usually reserved for large tour groups.

Dress

Very casual.

Cost

Quite affordable. A small deep dish pizza ranges from $8 (no toppings) to $12 (3-5 toppings). Salads are around $7.25.

Service

There was nothing note worthy about the service.

Items Ordered

Greek Salad

Crisp romaine & iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, onions, pepperoncini, black olives, tomatoes and spices with tangy balsamic vinaigrette
Cost:$7.25

The Greek salad wasn't really a Greek salad - it had more lettuce than a Greek salad should have. Still, there were a reasonable number of vegetables in here. The dressing was served on the side - it was a pretty typical balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Small Deep Dish Pizza

Cost:$8 with no toppings; $12 with 3-5 toppings

The deep dish pizza comes in both small and large sizes. Although the small pizza only has a diameter of 8 inches, we found it was just the right size to share between two people. The pizza is quite thick, and the dough is filling.

I didn't think the pizza had the same quantity of toppings that other Chicago deep dish pizzas have had, but it was still quite tasty.
