Foo(d) at AS220 is a casual cafe serving food that features seasonal and locally obtained ingredients. They had a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options as well as meat options. Their kitchen is out in the open behind a bar so you can watch your food being prepared and make special requests. They were accommodating of my modifications.

Place and pay for your order at the counter. You will then get a large playing card. When your food is ready they call out your card and you pick up your food. You can sit wherever you like.

The eggplant soup was really nice with the hot pepper vinegar. It gave it a slightly spicy taste. It had a good amount of lentils and vegetables in it, and was about half broth.

I asked for the salad without greens (which weren't listed on the menu), so it was more like a couscous and veggie platter. The parsley/lemon dressing gave it a light taste that was just enough to make it interesting.

The macaroni and cheese was very thick, creamy, and heavy. Considering it was listed as having broccoli I was disappointing by the proportions. It was a huge portion of macaroni with only a few small pieces of broccoli. It was delicious, but way too heavy for one person to eat on their own.
